Draper Temple

On Friday, we went to Draper to the Open House for the new Temple. It was so pretty! Mom, Dad, Cami, Jesse, Sharie, Raegan, Chris, Sharlee, Kenlyn and I all went. We had a great time. The temple is set so high up on the mountain, then it is surrounded my so many beautiful houses. As pretty as the temple is, It's not the same until it has been dedicated and the spirit is there.

We parked in a nearby church parking lot, then we were shuttled up to the temple. On the way back, the lady that I was sitting by started talking to me about how close the houses were to the temple. She said she wouldn't like to be that close. I think there would be no greater blessing then living right across the street from any temple! What better reminder to have the Spirit in our homes then living so close to one? We hade a great time!

Build-A-Bear

How fun! When we went to the Draper Temple open house, we first made a stop at Build-A-Bear workshop. I don't think it matters how old a person is, it takes you back to being a kid again! Cami and I joined the girls in the fun and we each made our own stuffed animal! Then Mom joined in and made one for Morgan. We had to include the guys somehow, so we made them hold our stuffed animals and pose for a picture! They weren't too thrilled - especially Chris - but they were good sports and did it anyway!
